Our Grillo d’ Altura (100% Grillo) at the first official participation, immediately obtained the gold medal at the XIX International wine city competition 2021. The contest was born in 2001 as “Selection of the Mayor” where the mayor of a Wine Producing City would present his wines in a review to enhance the quality of local wine production. The Competition rewards both wine companies and their wines and the municipalities where companies operate. Wine is produced in Caltanissetta, at 650 mt s.l.m it presents itself as a wine with a rich and very fresh taste, including floral and citrusy hints.
